I made this card for the SMMR Card Of the Month Swap in August. It's a little hard to see in the first picture, but I used versamark to stamp leaves all over the front.

Lemony Tuna Pasta
I am making one of my favorite Trader Joe's recipes for lunch today: Lemony Tuna Pasta. It is super easy. This was a recipe from the demo ladies at my store.
2 pkg Lemon Pepper Pappardelle Pasta
2 cans Genova Tuna in olive oil - do not drain
1 can TJ sliced black olives, drained
Cook pasta according to directions. Add tuna with all of the oil in the can and the drained olives. Toss.
Super easy and delicious!

Swapping Heaven
I don't know how I never knew about this site before... Swap-Bot! I just joined and am participating in 2 swaps. I am so excited! I've only just swapped with my local stamp group, Show-Me-Mo-Rubber. They have all kinds of swaps, not just stamping ones. It's a bit hard at first, there are lots of folks who don't allow newbies. But once you get a few under your belt, you can join all kinds of cool swaps.

New Layout
I followed a great link to a blog layout site. http://lenatoewsdesigns.blogspot.com/
She has some great designs. I even ventured into editing HTML to tweak some things. Pretty cool!

Wow, It's amazing how fast 4 months can go! This summer was busy!
I attended my local rubber stamp convention in June with Cyndi and Taylor. We had a blast! I took tons of pictures for inspiration. I entered the contest, but did not win. Oh well. I think I actually took pictures of the cards before I sent them off. I will post when I find them. I actually stayed in my budget too! It helps to not take the credit card. I paid cash or I didn't get it.
I think I am finally sold on a scoring tool. However, I still am not sure between the Scor-It and the Scor-Pal. I haven't been able to actually play with a Scor-Pal. but I loved the results from the Scor-It.

Contest Cards
These cards were entries into a card contest held at my local rubber stamp convention held in Collinsville, IL. This was in June 2007. The themes were Birds of a Feather and The Roaring 20's. I came in first and I won $100 to spend at the show in the Birds of a Feather category. I came in second place for the Roaring 20's. I forgot to take pictures of the cards before I mailed them off, so they are behind a protective cover in the pictures.

BBTB Challenge Entry
This is my entry for the Bitten By The Bug Spring Colors Challenge. The Challenge was to make a new card using your Cricut and ORANGES, GREENS, YELLOWS, HOT PINKS with a touch of brown.
I used Paper Pups for the Happy Birthday and Accent Essentials for all the background shapes.
Ok, so it's just like me to post my entry on the LAST possible day. Oh well. Here it is. This is only the 3rd thing I've ever made with my Cricut. The other 2 were Valentine's cards for my husband. When I find them, I'm going to post those pics too.

Thank you Regina and Peachy Keen Stamps!! This was fun. It is my first time participating in a challenge.

Some Past Creations...
This card was made for SMMR Card of the Month. If you pull on the tag, it makes the flower image pop up and reveals the sentiment. I forgot to take a picture of the inside. Instructions and a template can be found here.
These three cards were made at a class at Rock Paper Scissors. It was taught by Karen Lockhart of Lockhart Stamp Company. She has awesome colored pencil technique and her images are super cute!
I made this card quite a while ago at a class at the Inkspot. We used a shadow stamp to make the beige blocks. Then we used flower stamps in each box. The larger stamps were masked or we used markers to isolate part of the image. All the black outlining is doodles.

I am so bummed!
I went searching through the files on the "big" computer and I cannot find any of my cards or craft projects. I still have some of them, so I'm going to rephotograph. But most of them have been sent to other people. This sucks.

What am I doing! I barely have time to craft much less write about it! That's it for now. I'm going to gather some items for a gallery and some templates and such.
